ALBATROSS 82

The Fusion 2.0 is a salute to the original Karhu ‘Fusion’ model from 1996 when it was the top running shoe in the collection.

Karhu was the first sports brand to develop a midsole system using air cushion. The Mestari is the first Karhu shoe with the 1976 patented air cushion midsole.

One of the most iconic "Air Cushion" models was the Albatross 82, a lightweight runner that was initially launched in 1982.

The Aria 95 is inspired by the original running shoe from 1995 and has a unique feature in the Karhu collection: the mono sock construction.

First introduced in 1996, the Legacy featured an Air Cushion landing zone, sandwich construction heel cap, and an EVA midsole to make a well-cushioned running shoe.

The Synchron Classic did it first debut in 1980. It was always easy to recognize by the unorthodox lacing system in the toebox, which provide a better fitting upper, comfort and durability.

In the mid-1960s, “training” shoes didn’t exist. Track and field athletes demanded a shoe they could do their everyday training runs in, so Karhu developed the Trampas.
